Aaron sat in his hotel room flipping through some various videos he'd found of Caroline Burchill, who had previously dealt with people like Tiara Wilder, though she had failed in a previous week in a chance at the Paramount Championship when James Radford overcame her and Jessie Roberts.. Caroline had even eaten the pinfall in that, he'd noticed.. then his research continued as far back as the very first edition of Massacre where she had taken a loss to Ana Hayden. This all made Aaron feel even more confident, this gave him a plan.
Would everything go according to that plan? Well, that part remained to be seen.
Aaron eventually scoured through these things a bit more until finally, he turned towards a camera that would inevitably enter into the room. He took a sip of a bottle of water before casually turning towards the camera in question, still considering what he needed to address as things picked up here.

“Hate to say I told you so, ya know, again..”
He realized he'd said it before and chances were he'd say it again. Stuff like that always came up a few times over when you were prone to being successful.

“Who am I kidding? I love to say I told you so – ya know, again, I beat Cyrus Riddle like I said I would!!”
He was loving the bragging rights. Every match he had, they had one thing in common, he thought to himself as he scratched his chin while pondering. Everyone thought he was ready to kick the bucket, but then he'd come out on top and survive.

“In doing so I've taken another step closer to winning the Aaron Cup... Oops, did I say the Aaron Cup? I meant the Alpha Cup... Though when I win it so definitively that you guys want to rename it well. I'm not going to say no to the Aaron Cup, obviously. Just some food for thought guys, the Aaron Cup could be this places King of the Cage, an iconic name that people just instantly associate with this particular company.
Now everyone is talking, yapping their gums like people do you know... But the question is, is this the week Aaron Pace finally loses? I'm two and oh right now, I've beaten SOB and Cyrus Riddle... Now? Now I step toe to toe with Caroline O'Hara Burchill if that is her real name and to be honest, I'm not sure it is! But whatever your name is, you can seek solace in the fact that after tonight the only thing you'll be recognized as is that individual that lost to Aaron Pace. That's your new identity, that's your place, you're number three on the list of the people I've beaten. I know, I know you're gonna grow to love that.
See, the Alpha Cup is starting to get pretty tight now. Everyone's dropping like flies.
The fat has been trimmed a bit with people like Cyrus Riddle and SOB gone and now we're getting down into a real interesting little group. We've got a good number of people, all of whom itching for their chance, itching for their shot. But only one of us gets it and I understand, Caroline, I do. This to you would be vindication, this would make up for your failed opportunities thus far.. But you're soon going to find out that there is no making up, there are no take backs, there's no coming out on top after your trials and tribulations. There is only failure in your future, Caroline.”
He had acknowledged what Caroline wanted, he'd seen the ability she'd showcased and he knew it was rather bold to think he had it won, just like that. But yet still, here Aaron sat with a confident smile across his lips.

“But I think you're used to that, aren't you, Caroline? Sweet, sweet, sweet Caroline. I get it, you have some buzz behind you, you've seen some success in PAW in the past, I've noted. You've dealt with a fair number of talent that walk these halls by now and well, that's all well and good. But this isn't some backyard freakshow of a wrestling company and I'm far different than any of these minor leaguers in the back. I'm the future not just of Alpha Wrestling Empire but this business as a whole. I'm so far ahead of you and the rest of the normies that run around here that I may as well be the top champion around these parts right now.
Instead my skills are trivialized in this tournament, instead, I'm forced to 'prove myself'.
If the decimation of Cyrus Riddle and SOB weren't all the proof that you all need, well, watch what happens to Caroline. I'm not assuming you're weaker than me because of the well-documented differences between a man and a woman, I'm not assuming you're less talented than me because of a win-loss record. I know what I can do, everyone else has seen what I can do. I have been a dominant force, I am a tidal wave of pure talent that has washed over this company and people like you? You're being flooded away and try, try as you might, you just can't nail it down and save yourself. You're going to learn whether it's through your own capacity for such things, or me beating it into you that whether you're a man, woman or child.
No matter what gender, object or otherwise you identify as on your Tumblr blogs.
You just can't keep up.”
Attitude echoing off every word he uttered as he sat in front of the camera, the man oozed it.

“Now I'm going to go the extra mile here because you know, I'm a gentleman at my core and I just feel so bad for Caroline O'Hara Winston Churchill Burchill or whatever your name is. Let's be fair, nobody legitimately thinks you have a shot here. You've got a lot of those sympathy claps from people who feel bad, see people really in the know, they know what I know. You're up the creek without a paddle and that is fine, really it is. I'm not a little girl like Ana Hayden, I'm not a joke like Radford, I'm not a circus freak like you might find wandering around Pure Amusement Wrestling. I'm something more, I'm a phenomenon that's just starting to happen here in Alpha Wrestling Empire. I'll take over the world someday, I'll be on the tip of everyone's tongues and it all starts with the Alpha Cup..
You should be happy about that. Why? Because you for once in your life have become a part of something. You're not Caroline Burchill the sinking ship of a professional wrestler, you're Caroline Burchill – one of the catalysts in my ascension. Be happy about that and don't think about the darker reality, the reality that will set in once I've beaten you when you realize you're the ace of your own disgrace and I'm the face who has set the pace. People talk about how 2016 took away so many stars from us and it did, it really did. But as far as professional wrestling is concerned, I am the force that kills off the 'stars'. I'm the thing that takes away your cherished acts of yesteryear, I am the dealer here in this game we call wrestling and I adhere to no calendar year but all the same. I'll be the first to tell you when your time is up and it's time to fold and sweetheart? It's long overdue but it's your turn to bow out of this little game we're playing.”
He realized that rhymed and it was meant to do so. But with that, he added in a rather quick wink towards the camera, adjusted his tie and went back to work. He still had to focus, he had more to do in regards to Caroline.. He had to figure her out, figure out what makes her tick and get into her head, and maybe just maybe he'd do exactly that.
Sometime later, Aaron was in the locker room he was utilizing at the arena, all the way in scenic Columbus, Ohio in the Taft Colosseum! Aaron stood in the hall in front of a tacked up photograph of Caroline Burchill that seemed to be littered with darts, and to be fair to him, he seemed to be a pretty good shot. He'd already gotten both of her eyes and seemed to be aiming for other parts!
[ ABCDE ]
“Why are you throwing darts at a picture of this woman?”
Ah yes, an appearance by a young man who had recently become Aaron's 'aide' of sorts. Aaron peered over towards him and smiled.
[ A A R O N ]
“Practice.”
It was an odd thing to need to practice, and yet here Aaron was out in the middle of the hall with a hand full of darts throwing them at a photograph of Caroline. It was clearly printed out as if on a home printer, not professional in the slightest.
[ ABCDE ]
“How is this practice... you're not planning on throwing darts in her eyes during the match. Oh my god don't tell me you're planning on throwing darts at a woman's face?”
He seemed worried after all, usually you didn't try to maim your opponent or put their eye out. At least, if you were a civilized wrestler which he had seemingly got the idea that Aaron may have been.
[ A A R O N ]
“Oh, is that bad? I always forget American wrestling has yet to come as far as you know, underground wrestling. Yeah, back when I used to wrestle the super hardcore deathmatch leagues, you had to worry about darts from everyone. Hell, saw this one girl take a dart to the boob from a disgruntled fan.”
[ ABCDE ]
“...”
He couldn't tell if that was made up or not, given what he knew about professional wrestling and how weird it seemed to get in certain areas. But he clearly wasn't buying it in its entirety. Then Aaron caught 'Caroline' in the mouth with another dart.
[ A A R O N ]
“Pow, right in the kisser.”
[ ABCDE ]
“Good shot, sir! I think..”
[ A A R O N ]
“You think? You think?! You know, when I brought you on as my help, I thought you were going to be more supportive... but now? Maybe I just don't know. Maybe it's time to expand my core group and trim the fat, and the fat is you, tubby..”
Action, drama, cliffhangers aplenty! Aaron seemed to have a threat for his aide, Abcde! Aaron seemed to be pissed at the lack of support from the man and already, he had ideas about expanding the group he surrounded himself with. But what did that mean for poor Abcde?!
[ ABCDE ]
“Wait... you think I'm fat? Boss! Come on, please! I need this gig!”
He followed after him as Aaron set off down the hall. A camera then getting close up to the picture of Caroline on the wall riddled with darts. Left full of holes, one had to wonder if when things were all said and done, would Caroline O'Hara Burchill be in a similar state of disarray? Or would she come out unscathed and on top of the world in the next round of the Alpha Cup?
