PRIMARY FIGHTING STYLE: Technician
SECONDARY FIGHTING STYLE: Striker
IN-RING STRENGTHS:
Striking - Both are well versed in their striking games and have their arsenals filled with various punches and kicks.
Grappling - Same as their striking, both are well experienced in grappling opponents, locking them in holds that can easily wear them down in order to finish matches quicker.
Creativity - With both Hanzo and Storms trained in striking and grappling, this allows for some serious combo moves that if given the chance, can ultimately deal huge damage to their opponents.
IN-RING WEAKNESSES:
Morals - While the two have potential to become great, it's their morals that drives a wedge in them. Hanzo believes in sportsmanship and teaching respect, while Storms just wants to destroy everything in his path.
Inexperience - With a good three years of tag team wrestling under his belt, Storms has to step in order to make sure he and Hanzo are able to make it through as a team
PERSONALITY AND GIMMICK: Hunter is more or less the tank of the group, often starting their matches in order to dish out as much as he can before he gets too hurt himself. He'll often try to outlast to his opponents by utilizing submission holds to wear them out. Sometimes he'll even use psychological warfare if he has studied up on his opponents before the match. He's often the talker of group, insulting their opponents and bashing on the fans every chance he gets.
Hanzo is the quieter of the two, as he often isn't sure on what to do when the spotlight is set on them. He's more or less under the "guidance" of Storms in order to improve his in ring techniques, which his brother has questioned why he would tag with someone so brutal as Storms. In the ring, he often uses his agility to confuse opponents and duck in and out in order to get a few strikes on the opponent, often the legs in order to reduce their vertical base so he can the upper hand in the match. Hanzo often relies on the fans' support in order to help him push through the matches and hopefully get the win.
BIOGRAPHY:
The two originally met in 2014 when Storms was working with another promotion under the ring name, Wolf, during a wrestling tour over in Japan. A PPV was held in Tokyo, which Hanzo attended with his brother, Nakazo, as he wanted Hanzo to try to develop an interest in wrestling, and give up on the street fighting life. Storms was scheduled for the PPV, and ultimately won his match, taking home a championship belt. There was a post show autograph signing which the Kirigaya brothers attended in which they get autographed photos from all the wrestlers that competed that night, but the interesting part is that Storms and Hanzo had conversed about Hanzo's lifestyle choice. Storms recommended Hanzo to join the company, but Hanzo disagreed, stating he was more than fine by continuing his street fighting ways. It wasn't until late 2016 that the two re-encountered other in another promotion, however both signed up under different brands, but with Hanzo struggling to get some in ring experience, Storms stepped forward and offered to help train him, if he would also tag with him. Jumping at the chance, Hanzo accepted the offer and now the two have come to AWE in order to light up the Dynamic division.
