Austin: “Useless!"
The half empty bottle smashes against the wall. The brown liquid, that was clearly whiskey, ran down the wall taking the glass shards with it. Fernando, the young cameraman and clear target, shook with fear as the bottle was inches from his head. It wasn’t his fault. He was hired to just be a cameraman. But when his boss requested he rush down to the ring and interfere in his match, Fernando just couldn’t do it.
Austin: “I asked you to come down and help me win. To pay me back for not firing you about ten times over already. You couldn’t even pull that off! How fucking stupid are you?"
Fernando: “I have note."
Fernando extends his arm showing the small, torn piece of paper. Scribbled across the paper was simply ‘Francis Cup Holder. Win company.’
Austin: “What is this supposed to be? What’s a Francis Cup Holder?"
Fernando: “Francis Cup Holder say ladder match chance to win company. Chance to beat Jack Fanta, Door Cements and Bendy."
Proud of the message he just passed along, Fernando couldn’t help but let a smile sneak across his face. Taking a moment and a blank stare to translate, Austin finally understood what his imbecile of a cameraman was trying to say.
Austin: “So let me get this straight. Francis Cuppola wants me to represent him in the match against Zack, Dare and Bindy. And this is a chance for me to win the company. Did I break that down correctly?"
Fernando: “No. Cup Holder win company."
Austin: “Shut it. If I’m winning that match, the company will be mine. All that remains in my path are the other three who will be stepping in the ring with me. Zack Fantana. The man who has sat atop our division since day one. The man who has beaten me one on one already. The man that suffered his first loss last show. He’s off his A game. Knocked down a peg. All that other nonsense that means he’s off his game. This is a chance to get win over the champ without him even having to be in the ring."
Fernando: “Fanta is great!"
Austin: “Cameraman aren’t supposed to speak. Dipshit."
Hanging his head, Fernando drags his feet over to the mini fridge. Austin starts to pace, scratching his chin as Fernando reaches into the fridge and pulls out an Orange Fanta. He takes a sip unable to believe his boss could be so rude over a pop.
Austin: “Bindy Trent. The inspiration to the action figure my cameraman can’t stop masturbating to."
The camera pans over showing Fernando, pants at his ankles, petting the Bendy Bindy toy as she sits on his lap. A more disturbing sight could only be found in his diary.
Austin: “Don’t take it as too much of a complement, Bindy. You’re just barely a step up from the bearded lady he usually uses to get his rocks off. Maybe I’m a little biased. Afterall, I did manage to score the most beautiful girl on the roster. But if that doesn’t work out, maybe I’ll work my way down the list to you. Sure, you sit firmly above Benny Stevens in a skirt but I would get to you eventually. Whether the ‘Bang Bang’ in your Twitter handle represents the finger guns you pull as you try to one up the man child, Dare, or it represents your sexual promiscuity, you won’t be Bang Banging Austin Gale."
Realizing he has to operate the camera, Fernando tries to toss the doll. Sadly, it seems to be stuck to his hand by some sort of substance. Hopping to his feet, he trips over the pants that are at his ankles causing him to fall, hitting the camera onto a slight angle. An unprofessional angle.
Austin: “Speaking of the man child, my final opponent is Dare Clemmens. The man who tries to hide behind is self titled Universally Loved moniker while being even more of a pompous ass than myself. Doing these absurd dares as he tries to win over the fans yet struggles to win over his own family. That’s why you do this whole dare shtick, isn’t it? Maybe you grew up in a tough household. Your father probably beat you too much. Your mother probably drank too much. Your uncle probably touched you too much. That’s what gives people like you the urge to please. You see, you can do whatever you like, Dare, to try and win the love and adoration of the audience. But do you want to know why I’m better than you? It’s not just my money. It’s not even just my looks. It’s the fact that I’m loved by the important people in life; my family. And that’s something you don’t have."
Austin pauses before turning to face the camera. The look of disapproval is clear.
Austin: “Why do I always talk to the camera as if I’m going to get a response? I’m as bad as the rest of these dipshits."
Trying to get back to his feet, Fernando grabs ahold of the camera, knocking it over. Austin can do nothing but shake his head.
Austin: “I’m going to find a use for you. Mark my words."
Fade to black.
