The Alpha Wrestling Empire returned in November 2016 to once again stake its claim as one of the premiere wrestling promotions in the world. At the time of its rebirth, only one man was entrusted by the powers that be to carry out their vision.
A narrator reads the text aloud in a dulcet tone as they appear on the screen, following which a portrait shot of Thomas Shane Elliot materializes on the screen, amidst a white backdrop.
With an MBA and an MA in Economics, Thomas Shane Elliot has made a career of turning struggling companies around and helping startups become profitable, making him the perfect man for the job as the Chief Operating Officer of the AWE.
The white background grows in intensity until it obscures the COO entirely, transitioning into footage of T.S. Elliot warmly greeting businessmen in various arenas throughout the country.
In times of crisis, the Alpha Wrestling Empire requires steady leadership, clear thinking, and calm judgement. Because all it takes is one misstep... one wrong move for an empire to crumble.
November 2016.
In footage from Massacre #1, Elliot is seen discussing company matters with AWE shareholders Francis Ford Cuppola, Kassandrah, and Thirteen at the boardroom in AWE's headquarters in New York.
Tragedy strikes.
Now Thirteen is seen smiling as she offers Elliot a sandwich. T.S. snags half of the sandwich off the plate and quickly takes a bite. In mere moments, he is sprawled out on the table, clutching at his throat and gasping for air.
Accident...
The footage rewinds to the beginning where we first see Thirteen carrying the sandwich to T.S.
The narrator assumes a more accusatory tone.
Or C O N S P I R A C Y ?
A tale of corruption and intrigue.
WHO PB&J'd Thomas Shane Elliot?
The narrator stops speaking as Zack Fantana appears on the screen in a talking head format with the subheading "Arbiter of Truth" under his name.
"I think the first question you have to ask yourself is... who stands to gain from T.S. being cut out of the picture? And I think the answer's obvious - any of the three shareholders that shared that boardroom with him."
THIRTEEN
"Let's talk about the obvious one first. If you ask me, Thirteen was entirely culpable. It's not like that peanut butter and jam sandwich went rogue. She brought it to him and she fed it to him. That sandwich had malicious intent. She had to be aware of the allergy; T.S. planted it as bait on his linkedin page, because he knew of the conspiracy to overthrow him. And of course, when sandwich didn't eliminate Elliot from the equation, Thirteen moved in to finish the job herself."
The footage from Massacre #3's confrontation between Thirteen and T.S. in an office room briefly appears on screen. The editor has done his best to cut around the parts where T.S. (in a tinfoil hat) smears peanut butter on his naked body inside the cozy confines of a pillow fort. Truth be told, it's mostly blurred out.
"It was a trained martial artist versus a meager businessman. Would anyone blame T.S. if he acted out of fear? He's not fit to ward off a physical threat. Why do you think I'm fighting in his stead at Executive Action? He's not a trained athlete. He's not fit for combat. Quite frankly, it's a miracle that he made it out of that room alive.
And now that Thirteen's back, she's more dangerous than ever. Quite frankly, I fear for Bindy Trent. I fear for her innocence. We all saw how impressionable she was when she doubled down Clemmens' dare. Now imagine Bindy under the tutelage of someone with a much more sinister methodology. It's terrifying."
KASSANDRAH
"Tell me this. If Kassandrah is truly clairvoyant, why couldn't she see any of this coming? Why did she sit on her hands as T.S. flopped on the table? Why did she do nothing to prevent her friend Thirteen from being kidnapped?"
Allegedly.
"The overwhelming evidence suggests that she is just as cutthroat as Thirteen. Whether T.S. or Thirteen is eliminated from the picture, that's all good to Kassandrah, because that means that she's got one less obstacle in her way. One step closer to becoming COO and one step closer to getting her boyfriend's client a championship."
CUPPOLA
"If you play the tape back, you'll notice that none of the three ran to T.S.'s aid when they believed him to be having an allergic reaction. It was left to Rodney P to tend to him. And they didn't even wait until the ambulance arrived before they began plotting as to who would take over the company. I believe it was Francis Ford Cuppola who said-"
Zack's voice transitions into Cuppola's as the talking head fades into footage from Massacre #1 when Cuppola said to the others, "Well, now who's going to run the company? Let the competition begin", all this while Elliot's face turns red in the background.
"Later on in the week, he's attempting to convince everyone that Elliot had died. There's no remorse there. Cuppola is an opportunist, plain and simple. He craves power here in the AWE so he can lord it over people just like he does on the film set. And look at what he's done with his power so far. Why was it that as soon as the Resilience Championship was announced as part of this contest that Drew Stevenson's name was replaced with Austin Gale's name on the marquee? If I do some snooping around, I'm not going to discover that Austin Gale 'invested' in one of Cuppola's next projects or is an executive producer on the next season of the television series Hexx, am I?"
Who can we trust?
"Look, these three co-conspirators have already confirmed T.S.'s worst suspicions to be true, because they've agreed that the most important thing is that T.S. loses this contest. If you want an impartiality... if you want leadership... if you want a man of his word, you want Thomas Shane Elliot."
