"Massacre one stunned me. I was shook. I had no idea what happened. I went into the event confident, I was back and I couldn't think of a better way to make an impact than to walk out as the first AWE Resilience champion, and then something happened."
'The Dark Horse' gritted her teeth together and stared directly into the camera.
"I was thrown into the guardrail. I heard the referee counting in the ring and by the time I made it back in, it was over. Fantana had pinned Benny Stevens and my dreams were shattered. I can't knock Fantana at all, he did his thing. So did Benny, but I felt like that was mines to win...but now? I get another chance. We're about to see how resilient Zack really is as he enters number one in the Royal Rumble for the Resilience championship."
Two double doors are slowly pulled open as a cameraman follows behind Carmen. She steps through the doors and stares down into a wrestling ring filled with men and women. The usually confident Cambridge doesn't strut to the ring as she does in her normal entrance, instead she walks with purpose. She stops just outside of the ring and stares in it before finally leaping up onto the apron and then stepping under the middle rope. There are ten others in the ring, but one catches Carmen's eye. It's a man dressed similar to Zack Fantana with a replica title draped over his shoulders. She eyes him up from across the ring.
"I'ma show the world how resilient Carmen Cambridge is too when I SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY SLAY! That's ten slay's for those who can't keep up with ya girl, as in each and every one of my opponents. And AWE management, listen closely, if Zack is starting number one, I want in at number two. He tried calling my resiliency into question before our last match, talkin' that mess about everyone paying the same amount of dues as I have, and maybe that's true, but I know when the talking is over, I step up and I don't stay down. If he starts the rumble off, I want to prove to that boo boo that I can hang with him and go bell to bell for my chance at his title."
Carmen raises an eyebrow and steps closer to the 'champion' across the ring from her.
"Speaking of...something's off with this. How does he have a title when the title is missing?"
Carmen grabs the fake belt off of the fake Fantana's shoulder and tosses it over the top rope. The fake Fantana steps up to Carmen as the 'Gucci Girl' steps up as well, scaring the 'champion' back into the rope. She begins talking with her hands aggressively.
"What's up boo boo? Didn't think I would step up? Didn't think I would be back for round two? As a title-less champion, you should know better. This thing between us, it's far from over, and between us? You're my number one target in this match. I know your fanclub is going to be out heavy. I expect you to be living in Fantanasy world still, on cloud nine, but let's get one thing clear right now, you never pinned me. Did I walk out with my hand raised? Nah, I'm not delusional and I'm not taking anything away from your win, but you couldn't pin me, so guess what? Now I don't have to pin you. All I have to do is grab you by that greasy, stringy hair, and toss you over the top rope. Need a demo?"
Carmen grabs the man resembling Fantana by the back of the neck and hauls him towards the middle of the ring, only to launch him back and over the top rope! He crashes to the floor as she flips her pink hair.
"After I eliminate him, there are just nine more to go. I'll recognize Benny Stevens as the one in a dress."
She grins and shakes her head before grabbing the man in a dress and tossing him over as well.
"Then there were eight, and no hate but none of ya'll are stopping me. What do I bring to this match that the rest lack? Grade A, certified star power. I stand out and it's more than just the hair, boo's.
But this isn't about being a star, or drawing ratings, it's about being smart enough to avoid being eliminated and I have smarts for days. Not to mention that I'm smaller than everyone else in the match and that gives me an advantage. One, because I'm faster than everyone else so I can avoid the big boots, or the clotheslines over the top. Second, ever heard of 'the bigger they are, the harder they fall'? When someone tries tossing me over the top rope, I can use that momentum and my athleticism to keep from falling to the floor. You get one of the bigger opponents falling over the top, and there isn't much to save them from falling to the floor and heading back to the locker rooms."
Carmen turns her attention to the rest of the men and women in the ring and one by one, throws them all over the top rope, leaving herself as the last person standing in the ring.
"If this is called a Royal Rumble you can call me Queen Carmen boo boo's because there ain't a chance in the world I'ma blow this opportunity. AWE took a chance on me, they didn't have to. Ya girl was injured, and coming back from the injuries I was coming back from is risky business, but they believed in me enough to give me a chance, and at Massacre two, I'ma return their investment ten fold when I become the second Resilience champion...the first one to actually hold a title. Bet that. Where my crown at?"
